Cornerstone is seeking a Product Designer Manager to join our Product Design Team. As a Product Designer Manager at Cornerstone, you will manage a team of 4-5 Designers and play an integral role in our ideation and product development process working closely with fellow designers and closely collaborating with Product Managers, Product Strategists, UI Designers, and Software Development Engineers to create world-class Talent Management solutions for the largest enterprise employers and organizations in the world.

In this role you will...

  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of UX Designers; lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices.
  • Bring deep expertise in UX design and user centric approach
  • A systems thinker who identifies and abstracts repeatable design patterns and guidance
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team, product, marketing and engineering to deliver beautiful end-to-end user experiences. Support effective prioritization. Use data to inform your decisions, weigh the impact and tradeoffs of decisions, and seek input where needed to drive alignment
  • Identify product features and influence business strategy based on an accurate understanding of the needs and expectations of our users, customers, and partners
  • Comfortable navigating from ambiguity to clarity
  • Proactively plan ahead, look around corners, and can see the next step
  • Influencer of design direction while welcoming a healthy debate and bringing people along
  • Develop processes and Identify opportunities for improvements that drive quality and efficiency to help designers accomplish more than what they could otherwise
  • Drive and evangelize product design consistency through the governance and evolution of design systems

You've got what it takes if you have....

  • 8+ years of product design experience with an accompanying portfolio.
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing a UX team
  • Experience designing for the mobile device and desktop experiences as well as design system management
  • Proficiency with a variety of design development workflow and tooling such as Figma, Sketch, UXPin, JIRA, etc
  • Proficiency in mastering design principles (Typography, Composition, Scale, Color theory amongst other) and applying them to product design
  • Fluency in best practices for information architecture, interaction design, user-centered design processes, and user experience principles
  • Proven ability to work cross-team, synthesize feedback and input from business leaders, customer research/analytics and to design creative solutions
  • Experience designing for considerations including accessibility, scale, growth, discovery, localization, and personalization
  • Excellent verbal, writing, strategic thinking, conceptualization, presentation, facilitation, and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects with relentless attention to detail
